NEW BLOG!

Now that we've left Egypt, I feel a need to record what we did there so when we look back on our time we'll remember it wasn't all homeschool and sleeping. I'll continue to post to this blog until I catch up to the time we left Cairo in June 2010. Our new blog will pick up from that time forward.

Eid Mubarak!

Kids are out of school this week for the Eid Holiday. Yesterday we went to Um Quais. It is the ancient Gadara where the miracle of the Gadarene swine took place. We had a lot of fun exploring the ancient Roman ruins and checking out the views. We went with our branch president and his family, the Leavitts. Also there were Stephanie and Fiona Schwallie, two girls in the branch. And Grace Beecroft, a girl in the branch, came along. Here our some pics from our day.
