NEW BLOG!

Now that we've left Egypt, I feel a need to record what we did there so when we look back on our time we'll remember it wasn't all homeschool and sleeping. I'll continue to post to this blog until I catch up to the time we left Cairo in June 2010. Our new blog will pick up from that time forward.

Injuries

While we were at El Sokhna Batman was running down some stairs, hit one the wrong way, and sprained his ankle pretty bad. He couldn't put any pressure on it for about three days. We spent a couple of days in Egypt piggybacking him everywhere we went. Fortunately in El Sokhna, there wasn't really anyplace to go except for around the hotel. One bonus was at the airport we requested a wheelchair so we all got to ride out to the plane on a big truck that lifted us up to the back door where we could wheel him into the plane. Once we were back in Jordan we got him some crutches to use for a few days.

The other picture if of Petey. She was doing some baking and her arm hit the oven door and this was the result. Ouch.
