It was Fast and Testimony day at church today. Moving from Kuwait has always seemed to be in the future but today it made it seem imminent. It was the same feeling moving from Salt Lake. I remember the last Fast and Testimony day and realizing it would be the last and then the move seemed real.
Kuwait is a bit different in that each summer the branch goes through upheaval and change as families move out then hopefully by the end of the summer new families move in. A sister in the branch bore her testimony. She's originally from Texas but has lived here for 30+ years. She said families move in, the branch falls in love, then they move out. I need to tell her that it is hard for us too as we've fallen in love with the branch here in Kuwait even though we were only here a short time. This will be an experience and there are people we will never forget.
We already said goodbye to the Boulwares a week ago. They had come to our house to pick up their kids from a last playdate. We were leaving to Amman the next day. They were leaving to move back to the states the day after that. After saying goodbye we shut the door and little Cricket started crying. She will miss Victoria as the boys will miss Chullain.
The Flower family is moving from the branch back to the States as well. They are here with 2 teenage girls. Petey will miss them. Sister Flower has been a counselor in the Young Women presidency with Sister Boulware being the YW president. They, along with Sister Conor, the other counselor, have been amazing influences and wonderful leaders for Petey.
Change is hard but we look forward to even further expanding our circle of friends.

Awww Emma, Victoria missed her too. Stay in Aman long enough and maybe we'll get over to see you!
