NEW BLOG!

Now that we've left Egypt, I feel a need to record what we did there so when we look back on our time we'll remember it wasn't all homeschool and sleeping. I'll continue to post to this blog until I catch up to the time we left Cairo in June 2010. Our new blog will pick up from that time forward.

For those of you who have asked our summer plans, let me provide a schedule for what our summer looks like when we fly home. These are 'approximate' and may change by a day or two.

July 6th Catherine and all the kids fly to Boise
July 6-10 Catherine and kids in Boise
July 10-15 Catherine and kids in Denver and Sanford for reunion
July 16-Aug1 Catherine and kids in Idaho Falls/Rexburg
July 23 Todd flies to Idaho Falls to join whole fam damily
Aug 2-8/9 Whole family in Boise
Aug 9-17 Whole family in SLC (staying with Kristina in Ogden)
Aug 18 Whole family flies to Jordan

Now, who is making the trip to Jordan for Christmas? Jerusalem is just a matter of crossing the river Jordan. It could make for a life event and when will you have another chance?

Sounds like tons of fun and stress all rolled into one. Hope it's more of the former rather than latter.

Hello, you guys don't know me but my husband came across your blog when he was researching the church in the Dubai area. Sounds like you guys are having quite the adventure and I am in awe you are doing it all with 7 kids! We have 2 kids (ages 4 and 3) and I can't imagine living and traveling that far with any more than that! We are hoping to move internationally in the next year or two so it was fun to read a bit about life for you. My husband and I have both been to Jordan and Israel and the surrounding area and love it there. We hope your life there is all you want it to be. Enjoy your summer in the states! We live in Utah and it's been hot hot hot but I guess you are used to that. Thanks for letting me comment! Kristi

You know I can take a bunch of pictures off the internet and photoshop myself in them to. It's good to see you family is doing great. Wish we could join you for Christmas. I guess I will just have to photoshop our family into one of your pictures.
