Exploring Amman

We did have a little time between seeing houses to take the kids on a little exploration of a Roman amphitheater in Amman. They enjoyed climbing up it and going through a couple of small museums attached to it.



This is a panorama shot of it. You can't really tell from this picture but Todd and the 6 oldest kids are seated up in the top right corner.



Here we are in with the seats behind us.




This is a shot of the kids climbing the steps at various stages. Petey is at the very bottom. Cricket is standing at the top of the first level. The boys are up on the 2nd and 3rd levels.




This is a shot Todd took from the top looking down. All the kids and I are standing down on the stage. You can see how steep it is--which is why you didn't see a pic of me anywhere near the top. Even modern arenas make me nervous and nauseous when I'm high up. Just looking at this picture makes my stomach turn. I can't believe I let my kids go up there!
