NEW BLOG!

Now that we've left Egypt, I feel a need to record what we did there so when we look back on our time we'll remember it wasn't all homeschool and sleeping. I'll continue to post to this blog until I catch up to the time we left Cairo in June 2010. Our new blog will pick up from that time forward.

Thank you Vass'!


Despite being a former English teacher, I don't know if I've used the correct punctuation in my blog title. But oh well. The Vass family deserves a thank you for letting Richard come and bringing us treasures from the States. He came all this way and this is what we fed him. Sorry, Richard. Maybe next time you come I will have learned how to make some hummus or something.

My favorite was the McArabia pita-like sandwich in Dubai. Curious that they don't have those in Jordan...!
