Kid fun in Amman

Here is an email Critter sent while Todd and I were in Paris. Marwa is a coworker of Todd's who came to stay with the kids. I put it here on the blog because I thought his description of the zoo here was pretty funny.

Sorry i haven't emailed you at all. Everyone's been on the computer when I needed to email you. I would tell them to get off, and they're just like "you can to it tomorrow." That's including Clara. Anyway, you probably know that Marwa got us McDonalds on Tuesday. Yestarday, we went to the Zoo and this amusement park called Magic Land. The zoo was better than the Kuwait Zoo, becuz
1. They actually cleaned the place once in a while
2. The animals were awake, instead of sleeping
It also had dogs and cats, which is something you don't see in an everyday zoo. The Magic Land place had a bunch of rides. Conrad and I went on his trampoline thing where they attach these bungee cords to you, pull you down (which stretches the bungee cords), and then let go, whicih slingshots you into the air (while still attached to the bungee cords). We also went on these bumper cars which was activated when you put this little neon-colored chip thing into a slot. We also went on this wimpy roller coaster that went straight and flat most of the time. On their tickets, there was a picture of Tinkerbell. I wonder if they had permission from Disney Enterprises (or whoever they have to ask) to use her. Probably not. Today (Thursday), we are probably going to go to the movies to watch madagascar 2 or open season 2 or something.CALVIN~
